National Drug Take Back Day was on 4/28/18

Drug Safe Hudson Coalition Drug and Alcohol Resource Specialist, Jamie Messenger, proudly supported the ninth National Drug Take Back Day with Hudson Police Department, Lieutenuat May and Sergeant Rock at Acme in Hudson on Saturday April 28, 2018. Thank you to all who assisted in properly disposing of unneeded medications!

In October 2017, a record-breaking 912,305 pounds — or 456 tons — of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs were collected during the eighth annual Prescription Drug Take Back Day event,  according to a press release Tuesday from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
